Who publishes Cold Geeks
Cold Geeks is the publisher of this site. Articles are published under the Cold Geeks Editorial Team byline, not under individual names.
Accuracy
We check the factual claims in our guides against manufacturer manuals, manufacturer support pages and official guidance from government and standards bodies. Where a claim cannot be supported, we reword it or remove it.
Reviews and corrections
In October 2026 we began reviewing every article on the site. Articles that have been reviewed carry a short “Reviewed” note at the end that says what was corrected.
If you spot an error, email us at brentblunt@gmail.com. We will check it and correct the article if needed.
Advertising and affiliate links
Cold Geeks does not currently use affiliate links. We may show advertising on the site. Advertising does not influence what we write.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft, edit and fact-check articles, and some images on the site were made with AI tools. A person is responsible for everything we publish.
Safety
Our guides are general information. For electrical work, repairs or anything involving safety, follow the manufacturer’s manual and use a qualified professional.
